We are writing this letter of appreciation and recommendation regarding the recent large painting project on our 100 year old craftsman home. This large project was expeditiously designed, bid and completed by Jason while allowing us to continue to use our home as he worked. Jason arranged to have a designer meet with Barbara to choose appropriate color coordination's that complemented our architecture and personal tastes. Jason was careful to cordon off his work areas to prevent spread of dust from sanding tracking to other areas we were using. As each area was finished (on time and in budget) he thoroughly cleaned up and took away all trash. Our home, with cracks in plaster from earthquakes of yore, and gouges from children and pets required significant filling and sanding, then textures and priming, and finally hand painting and trimming of six rooms and a stairwell. All the original antique doors with layer upon layer of paint were stripped, sanded, and stained showing the lovely wood grains of their original craftsmanship. Our large living room has many open dark wood beams and light walls. The wood required stripping, sanding and varnishing and now looks like new with the beautiful natural grain showing through. Throughout this large project complicated by many last minute modifications and changes, Jason maintained a cheerful attitude. He adapted his schedule to our comings and goings and guests and always left our home in a functional state at the end of the day and on weekends. The finished product shows his true mastery of his trade. It is clear to anyone who knew our home before and sees the changes that his workmanship has added both monetary and aesthetic value to this home we treasure. He treated our home as though it were his own. We give him our unqualified indoresement as a talented and dedicated master of his trade who delivers fair value and an unusual work ethic to any project he is commissioned to complete.
